Eher per Zufall habe ich von VSCodium erfahren. Ich wollte VSCode per winget aktualisieren und durch die Suche hat es mir VSCodium angezeigt. winget search vscode Ich wusste nicht wirklich was das ist, aber die ium-Endung hat mich neugierig gemacht. Und tatsächlich ist es eine, in meinem Sinne, angepasste Version. Beim Build werden die Microsoft-Anpassungen ausgelassen, der Marketplace wird ersetzt und sämtliche Telemetrie ist standardmässig deaktiviert. As I was enjoying my year off of work, I still felt the need to learn some IT-stuff. I stumbled upon the Microsoft learning portal and I started to browse. While looking for a job, one IT-manager felt, that my know-how in M365 was lacking. Thus I looked for M365 modules and found MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals. Welp, these are the fundamentals alright. This module is aimed at total beginners. There are questions like “which product is used to achieve task x” and you can choose between four answers. Over the last weekend I watched some videos and read some websites to gather information about static site generators. This topic is quite fascinating. I already had some experience with Jekyll and Sphinx, because I wanted to try GitHub Pages and Read The Docs respectively. Sphinx is a real monster - I can tell you that!
